Folic Acid is a natural substance, responsible for the formation of red and white blood cells. Folic Acid is present in foods (e.g., dried beans, oranges, whole-wheat products, peas, spinach, lentils, liver, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, beets, and broccoli).

You may taker this medicine with or without food. Do not crash or chew. Swallow whole.

Folic Acid Safety Information

In case of missing a dose of Folic Acid, take it as soon as you remember to do so. However, if it's about time to take your next dose, skip the missed one and follow your regular schedule. Thus take the next dose when it's time for it. Never take a double dose at once. Do not exceed the dosage. In case of overdose seek the medical care immediately!

Keep Folic Acid safe from heat, moisture, and light. Store this product at room temperature, in scope of 20 to 25 degrees C (68 to 77 degrees F) in a light-resistant container. Keep this product out of the reach of children. Keep safe from pets.

You should not be taking this product if you have an allergy to any ingredient in Folic Acid.

Check all the medicines you take. You should consult with your doctor if any other medicine you take contains Folic Acid.

Medical tests, e.g., red blood cell counts, may be done to monitor your condition. Keep all doctor and laboratory appointments.

Folic Acid Side Effects

The following side effects do not usually need to be reported immediately, but talk to your health care provider if they become continuous or bothersome: severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue; tightness in the chest).

Do not share your medicine with others, for whom it has not been prescribed.

Inform your health care provider in case you do not notice improvement.
