i am worried about side effects of nitrofurantoin as my elderly mother seems to be getting rather confused is there an alternative antibiotic to treat her urinary tract infection

im on nitrrofurantoin for urine infection also on antepsin for inflamation but has settled three of those a day and antibiotic four a day but finish it on tues would it be wise if i could have a few drinks of alchohol or would it make me worse

You should wait for some days before taking alcohol, this would be wise.
