Cialis Information

Cialis is designed to treat male erectile dysfunction, such as impotence. This product may also be prescribed by your health care provider for other health states.

Cialis is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor, promoting the blood flow to achieve the penis and preserve an erection during sexual activity.

You should strictly follow the recommendations your health care provider gives you. The dose should be taken just once per day. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage, and do not take it more often than your health care provider tells you to. Take it with water. You may take this medicine with or without food.

Cialis has usually to be taken only when needed, just before sexual intercourse. However, Cialis may also be used as a daily treatment (at a lower dosage).

Cialis Safety Information

In case you miss a dose of Tadalafil (if you use it daily), take it as soon as you remember to do this. Then resume your usual dosing schedule and try to remember about all the doses. Never take a double dose at once. Do not exceed the dosage. In case of overdose seek the medical care immediately!

Keep Cialis, safe from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Store this product at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C). Keep this product out of the reach of children. Keep safe from pets.

Inform your health care provider if you take any other medications (even non-prescription!), herbal products, vitamins, minerals, or any supplements as they may interact with this therapy! Never start or stop any treatment without the approval of your health care provider! Do not start Tadalafil therapy if you already take recreational drugs (poppers) with amyl or butyl nitrate, or any type of nitroglycerin (e.g., under the tongue, paste tablet, spray, capsule, patch, ointment) or other nitrates (e.g., Isosorbide). Do not take this medicine in case you experience an allergy to any of the components in this product.

Cialis Side Effects

Cialis may cause such common side effects as headache; muscle pain, back pain; warmth or redness in your face, neck, or chest; diarrhea, upset stomach; stuffy nose, sore throat.

Contact your health care provider immediately in case of the following side effects: irregular heartbeat; sudden vision loss; chest pain or heavy feeling, pain spreading to the arm or shoulder, nausea, general ill feeling, sweating; feeling light-headed, fainting; swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet; ringing in your ears, or sudden hearing loss; seizure; shortness of breath; prolonged or painful erection; vision changes. Talk to your doctor as soon as possible if you have an allergic reaction (closing of the throat; breathing discomfort; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; hives).

In case you experience staggers, nausea or any kind of pain during the sexual intercourse, stop and seek medical attention immediately! Consult with a health care professional right away if you experience prolonged or painful erection.

In rare cases the sudden vision loss has been detected. Cialis can cause reduced blood flow to the optic nerve of the eye, causing sudden vision loss. However, detected cases occurred with patients who also suffered from diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or certain pre-existing eye problems; and in patients over 50, or smokers. Side effects may not be a result of the Cialis therapy. If these side effects occur, discontinue the therapy and call your doctor right away.

You should inform your health care provider in case you are recommended to abstain from sexual activity in order to prevent the risk of certain health conditions (problems with heart, for example).

Make sure to inform your health care provider in case you have angina (chest pain); heart disease or heart rhythm problems; a stomach ulcer; a recent history a heart attack (within the past 3 months); high or low blood pressure; a recent history of stroke or congestive heart failure (within the past 6 months); kidney disease (or if you are on dialysis); retinitis pigmentosa (an inherited condition of the eye); liver disease; a physical deformity of the penis (such as Peyronie's disease); a bleeding disorder such as hemophilia; a blood cell disorder such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia.

This medication should not be used by women. Do not use it in case of pregnancy or if you are breast-feeding. It’s not known whether this medication is extracted into the breast milk. Do not start taking this medication without the consultation with your doctor.

Do not use alcohol while going thru the treatment. Talk to your doctor to find out whether you may drink grapefruit juice, or it’s not recommended during your therapy.
