Viagra is developed to treat erectile dysfunction in men. This medicine relaxes muscles, enhances natural blood flow, induces penile potency, which provides boost of male sexual activity, penis size enlargement and multiplied orgasms.

Sildenafil under the name Viagra is used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men. Another brand of Sildenafil is called Revatio (treats pulmonary arterial hypertension and improve exercise capacity in men and women). Viagra Safety Information

In case of missing a dose of Viagra, take it as soon as you remember to do so. However, if it's about time to take your next dose, skip the missed one and follow your regular schedule. Thus take the next dose when it's time for it. Never take a double dose at once. In case of overdose seek a medical care immediately.

Keep Viagra safe from heat, moisture, and light. Store this product at room temperature, in scope of 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C). Keep this product out of the reach of children. Keep safe from pets.

You should not be using this medicine simultaneously with nitrate medicine for heart problems or chest pain. Other medicines may also interact with this treatment. Avoid using other medicines to treat impotence. Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine.

Inform your health care provider if you take any other medications (even non-prescription!), herbal products, vitamins, minerals, or any supplements as they may interact with this therapy! Never start or stop any treatment without the approval of your health care provider!

Viagra Side Effects

Contact your health care provider immediately in case of the following side effects: chest pain, irregular heartbeat; breathing shortness; a painful or long-term erection, that lasts over 4 hours; ankles or legs swelling; angina (discomfort, numbness, pain, tightness, tingling in the arms, neck, chest or jaw); sleepiness; nausea; vertigo; feeling light-headed, fainting; ringing in your ears, or sudden hearing loss; vision changes; sleep loss; severe vertigo. Talk to your doctor as soon as possible if you have an allergic reaction (closing of the throat; breathing discomfort; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; hives).

Consult with your health care specialist in case if the most common side effects are continuous, and if they bother you too much: stuffy nose; back pain; headache; stomach disorder; warmth or redness in your face, neck, or chest.

This medicine may rarely cause a painful prolonged erection that does not necessarily happen as a result of sexual stimulation. This obstacle requires immediate doctor’s attention. Otherwise it may outgrow into serious problems, including impotence. In case of a painful prolonged erection search the medical attention immediately.

Viagra can cause reduced blood flow to the optic nerve of the eye, causing sudden vision loss. However, detected cases occurred with patients who also suffered from diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or certain pre-existing eye problems; and in patients over 50, or smokers. These side effects may not be a result of the Viagra therapy. If these side effects occur, discontinue the therapy and call your doctor right away.

If you feel nausea, pain or dizziness, tingling in your chest, arms, neck, or jaw during the sexual intercourse, you should stop and call your health care provider immediately.

Make sure you inform your health care specialist if you have kidney disease; a stomach ulcer; liver disease; heart disease or heart rhythm problems; coronary artery disease; a physical deformity of the penis (such as Peyronie's disease); a blood cell disorder such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia; high or low blood pressure; a recent history (in the past 6 months) of a heart attack, stroke, or heart rhythm disorder; congestive heart failure; retinitis pigmentosa (an inherited condition of the eye); bleeding disorder such as hemophilia. Do not take this medicine if your doctor recommends sexual abstinence, necessary because of the health problems.

Women should not be treated with Viagra. Consult with a health care provider in case of pregnancy. Risks and benefits of taking this medication during the pregnancy and breast-feeding period should be closely discussed. The absorption into the breast milk has not been researched.
