Medrol

MS and Solu-Medrol I've tried very hard to answer this iinnkhtg only of the past 5 years. I've only had it twice since then. My doctor has tried to only use it in case of a severe emergency. Well, this goes along with medication with any type of steroid in it. You see, my first neurologist should have learned about the problems of steroids before he used them on me. He, thank God, isn't able to practice any more because of 2 other patients and myself. With the 3 of us, he overdosed us on solu-medrol and ACTH. I was diagnosed with AVN 3 years after I left him. I've had to have core decompressions on both hips and twice on each knee. He had given me each of these IV medications in the large IV bags, I was given 3 of these bags every 24 hours for time periods between 5-10 days. When I was discharged from the IV hospitalization given a prescription for Prednisone. The Prednisone I was discharged on was in the amount of 360 milligrams a day. For weeks at a time I took it until I was put in the hopital again for many days of Solu-Medrol. This went on for months at a time, the cycle was unending. I was young, no family and in a new place to live. (I was diagnosed right after my move).
